Set up connection settings

Connection settings are for people on managed, corporate or ISP-provided networks. They are configuration for servers you already have. The app ships no proxy, no VPN, and no server lists; every address here is one you type in.

1. Open Network settings

Open Settings, then Network. The top card shows the current connection as Healthy, Degraded or Offline, with latency and speed.

2. Add a connection profile

Under Connection profiles choose Add profile. A profile can set:

• Proxy server: None, System proxy, HTTP proxy, or SOCKS5 proxy, with host, port, and optional username and password.
• DNS resolver: the System resolver, Custom DNS servers, or DNS over HTTPS, with a Prefer IPv4 addresses option.
• UDP relay (UDP-to-HTTP): a udpxy relay for multicast streams on ISP networks.
• HTTP identity: a custom User-Agent, Referer and Origin that some sources require.
• Routing: which traffic the profile applies to, from the source API and playlists to streams and guide data.

3. Make it the default and test

Choose Make default to apply a profile, and Test to check it before you rely on it. Run diagnostics on the Network page reports what it finds and leaves the decision to you.

What this is not

These settings do not unblock, bypass, or hide anything, and the app never picks a server for you. Whether a configuration is allowed where you are is your responsibility.
