Add a playlist or portal

Everything you watch comes from a source you add. You can add more than one, and the app keeps them apart. The first one is usually added during first-time setup; this is the route for every one after that.

In the left navigation open Sources, then choose Add source. Pick the kind that matches what your source gave you:

  • Playlist URL, a link to an M3U or M3U+ list. The app detects whether the link is a playlist or an Xtream Codes export and imports it either way.
  • Upload M3U, a file already on this PC. It is encrypted on this device before it leaves it.
  • Xtream Codes, a portal you connect with Server URL, Username and Password.
  • Stalker, a portal that signs in with a Portal URL and a MAC address.

Give the source a Display name so you can tell your sources apart later. Source types the app accepts compares what each kind asks for and what each one can bring.

For an Xtream or Stalker portal, open the source and choose Sync portal library. This caches its live TV, movies and series on this PC so browsing is fast. Channels are sorted into their groups for you as they come in.

Open the source settings and set Playlist update: Auto update, Every X hours, or Manual. Refresh now on a source, or Refresh all in the toolbar, updates it on demand.

Portal credentials are stored encrypted. To change them later, choose Edit on the source and type new ones; leave both fields blank to keep what is stored. The address cannot be changed. To point at a different server, add a new source.

Your free plan includes one playlist. What your plan includes covers the rest.
