Get started on Windows

By the end of this page the app is installed, one source is added, and a channel is playing. If you would rather set the account up on the web first, or you are setting up a console, ways to set up compares the routes.

  • A Windows PC
  • A playlist or portal from a source you already have

Download the app and run the installer. There are two Windows builds and they differ, so if you are unsure which to take, read which version to install.

The app opens on a disclaimer you accept once, then walks you through seven short screens: create an account or sign in, name your profile, add your first source, wait while it is read, and answer two optional questions about sport and taste. It takes about a minute.

The first time you open the app covers every screen, including what the source test actually checks and what to do when it fails.

Setup ends on Start watching. Open Live TV and pick a channel. Live channels are read first, so they play even while movies, series and the program guide are still arriving.

Setup asks for one source because one is enough to start. More are added the same way afterwards: add a playlist or portal, on this PC or from a browser.

One device and one playlist. Everything else needs a paid plan, and the app says so at the point it matters rather than after you have set it up.
