Change appearance and language

How the app looks and the language it speaks are both in Settings.

1. Choose a theme

Open Settings, Appearance. Set Theme to System, Light, Dark or AMOLED, which uses pure black to save power on OLED screens. Pick an Accent color for buttons and progress bars, and a Window material: Mica tints with your wallpaper, Acrylic is translucent, and Solid is best on low-end machines. Remember window size and position keeps the app where you left it.

2. Set your language and region

Open Settings, Language. Set Display language to English, French, or to follow your system. Set your Country, which affects guide times and date formats, choose a Time format of 12-hour or 24-hour, and a First day of week. A display-language change applies the next time the app starts.

3. Set a subtitle language order

Still under Language, Subtitles language fallback chain sets which subtitle language the player picks first when a stream offers several. Choose Edit chain to order them.
