Is it the app or your source?

My TV Player is a player. It contains no channels, streams or content of any kind. You supply a source, and the app plays what that source returns.

That split decides who can fix what.

What you see Whose problem
The app will not start, or closes on its own Ours
A button does nothing, or a screen is blank Ours
The picture is the wrong shape, or subtitles will not turn on Ours
What you see Whose problem
A channel plays on one device and not another Your source, usually a connection limit
Every channel stopped at once Your source
A channel disappeared from the list Your source decides what the list contains
Playback stops after a few seconds, repeatedly Your source

We cannot identify, contact, evaluate or troubleshoot a source. The app holds no relationship with any of them, and cannot see or test one on your behalf.

One line in the app is less clear cut than the table above. When a source row says the app could not reach your source (MTP-1505 and the codes beside it), the connection never completed, and this device is as likely to be the reason as the address is: a VPN, a DNS service, or a firewall or antivirus can stop the app while everything else on the machine keeps working. A source is unreachable works through those checks in order before it sends you to your source.

Why the web console cannot see your channel list

Section titled “Why the web console cannot see your channel list”

The console stores what a playlist is, never what it contains. It does not read your catalog, cannot count what your source returns and cannot test a stream. That is a privacy position rather than a gap: the servers never hold your channel list.
