The picture is wrong

The stream plays, but it does not look or sound right.

Most of this is ours, and it is adjustable.

1. Is the shape wrong, or the content wrong?

Stretched, squashed or letterboxed. The app has an aspect setting per stream. Change it from the playback controls; it is remembered for that channel.

Wrong program entirely. That is what the source is sending on that channel. The app plays whatever arrives at the address it was given.

2. Are subtitles missing, or present but not selectable?

No subtitle option at all. The stream carries no subtitle track. The app can only show tracks the stream contains.

The option exists but does nothing. That is ours. Report it with the channel name, because it usually points at one specific stream format.

Your preferred language is missing. The stream carries subtitles, just not in that language. The app tells you this specifically rather than silently showing another.

3. Is the sound missing while the picture is fine?

Check the audio track selector first: many streams carry several, and the first is not always the one you want. If the stream genuinely carries no audio track, the app says so with a code, and that is the source’s doing.
