Set up an aggregated source

Esta página aún no está disponible en tu idioma.

An aggregated source combines several sources into one lineup. The same channel from two sources becomes a single entry that can fail over from one to the other.

You need two or more enabled sources before you can combine them. Add them on the Sources page first, then come back here.

In the Sources toolbar choose Add aggregated source. A short wizard walks four steps:

  1. Members, the sources to combine.
  2. Master and order, which source’s names and numbering win when they disagree.
  3. Merge rules, how duplicate channels are matched and deduplicated.
  4. Review.

An aggregated source is a definition until you build it. Choose Build on this device. When the definition later changes, the row reads The definition changed, rebuild to pick it up, so choose Rebuild on this device.

Live channels are merged and deduplicated, so one channel can move between sources when a stream fails. Spreading channels across sources also gives you more simultaneous streams, because each source counts its own connections.
