Get program reminders and announcements

Reminders tell you before a program starts. Announcements are the app’s own messages about the service. Both are managed from one place.

1. Set a reminder from the guide

Open a program in the program guide and choose Set reminder. Reminders are delivered on Telegram, so link it once: open Settings, Notifications, and connect the Telegram bot. A program that starts very soon cannot take a reminder, and the app says so.

2. Choose what you are notified about

In Settings, Notifications, turn individual messages on or off. They are grouped:

• Send me: service announcements and billing alerts.
• Guide reminders: program start reminders.
• In-app notifications: new episodes, new movies in genres you follow, sync errors, a new device sign-in, and subscription reminders.

3. Read announcements and reminders in the app

The Reminders page in the left navigation lists your reminders and any announcements from us. Turn on Do not disturb during playback in Notifications to hold non-urgent messages while you are watching.
