Remove the app and your data

1. Uninstall the app

Uninstall from Windows Settings, under Apps, like any other program.

2. Know what stays, and where

Three kinds of data, three different places:

Recordings are ordinary video files in the folder you chose, and uninstalling never touches them. Delete the folder if you want them gone.

Your account lives on our servers, not on this PC: sources, profiles, favorites and settings come back when you sign in on any device. Uninstalling changes none of it.

What our servers hold is deliberately little: playlist addresses, never their contents, and never anything you watched. Architecture and privacy is the full statement.

3. Tidy up the account

In the web console at mytvplayer.app, under devices, remove this PC to free its device slot for another machine.

To erase everything, delete the account itself from the console’s account page. That removes your data from our servers; it also has an export, if you want a copy of your data first.
