Change playback and picture settings

هذا المحتوى غير متوفر بلغتك بعد.

Picture and sound settings live on the player’s Video settings, not in the main Settings. Open it while something is playing. It has three tabs: General, Enhance and Playback.

1. Adjust speed, aspect and zoom (General)

Section titled “1. Adjust speed, aspect and zoom (General)”

On the General tab set Playback speed from 0.5 times to 2 times, choose an Aspect such as Original, Fit, Fill, 16:9, 4:3 or 2.39:1, and a Zoom level. Subtitle offset nudges subtitles earlier or later if they drift.

The Enhance tab has a Picture profile with presets such as Movie, Sports and Night, and per-setting Adjustments for brightness, contrast and sharpness. Deinterlace handles interlaced channels: leave it on Auto, or set Yadif for stubborn ones.

The Playback tab covers how streams are handled:

  • Hardware acceleration decodes video on the graphics card. Auto is right for almost everyone; the app shows what it detected.
  • Audio passthrough sends Dolby and DTS soundtracks to a receiver. Choose AC-3 / DTS or Full (HD) if your receiver decodes them, otherwise leave it Off.
  • Buffer length trades responsiveness for stability; raise it on a slow connection.

Video and audio play through the codecs the stream uses; where the graphics card cannot decode a format, playback falls back to the processor automatically.
